Beach Fun

We just returned from a wonderful family trip to Silver Strand State Beach (on Coronado Island) where we camped for 4 days. We loved it! We took the trailer and the campsite is literally on the beach. It was so relaxing to wake up hearing the waves crash, and walk 20 steps to the sand! I think I'm a bit depressed to be home in HOT Murrieta, I want to go back!! And the kids had so much fun running in the waves and playing on the sand, they keep asking to go back too! Oh well, something to look forward to next year!

Swimming Lessons

So we just finished the last day of Brooks' swimming lessons this week, and it's amazing how quickly children can adapt to the water. He still hates putting his head completely underwater, but he does it no less, and we're so proud! Hopefully with more practice, he will get better and better and be swimming by summer's end! Then it will be Clara's turn...

What's with my blog name?

So yes, I want to be a fashionista. I love fashion! I love seeing all the new styles and trends, what's hot and what's not. Jeff hates how much I go to the mall, but I can't help it, it's where I'm happy! And how I love dressing my children...I think I enjoy it more that dressing myself! There are so many cute clothes for kids these days, and I am just taking advantage of that. Oh well. I haven't told Jeff yet, but I really want to take a trip to LA and visit all the fabulous boutiques. Perhaps I can rope Jen and Gaye into making the trip with me sometime, then we can all get into trouble together! :)
